PSCU Financial Services Unveils Practical Answers for Today’s Issues at InSight 2011 Senior Leadership Workshop and Member Forum
St. Petersburg, FL, Jan. 4, 2011 – PSCU Financial Services’ 2011 Senior Leadership Workshop and Member Forum will equip attendees with practical advice and proven tactics to succeed in a difficult economy and unstable regulatory environment. The meeting will be held April 6-8, 2011, at the prestigious JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in San Antonio, Texas.
The InSight 2011 meeting’s theme of “Real Issues. Real Answers.” signals the CUSO’s commitment to finding pragmatic approaches that address current challenges faced by senior executives, product managers and other key decision-makers. Keynote presenters include:
- Peter Orszag, a member of President Obama’s Cabinet and Director, Office of Management & Budget (2009 – 2010) will give a rare insider’s look at the
impact new legislation will have on credit unions, the financial services industry and the economy.
- Steven Levitt, bestselling author of FREAKEAKOMONOMICS and SUPERFREAKONOMICS and a tenured professor at the University of Chicago’s Economics Department will share his innovative perspective on how economic thinking can be applied to every aspect of life.
- Stan Slap, corporate strategist and New York Times’ bestselling author of Bury My Heart at Conference Room B will help leaders identify their values and use those values to simultaneously boost morale and enhance the financial performance of their credit unions.
- Erik Qualman, author of Socialnomics and social media/technology expert will unveil practical ways for credit unions to tap into social media to build membership and enhance loyalty.
Other speakers will include Chris McWilton, President, U.S. Markets, MasterCard Worldwide and Thomas Greve, publisher of Credit Union Times. As in past years, the event will feature question and answer segments, discussions and panels that equip credit union leaders with new business models to stimulate growth and profitability.
Sessions of the Senior Leadership Workshop for Executives and Member Forum will meet concurrently at this event and will allow discussions with industry-leading speakers in an informal environment. Breakout sessions will promote best practices for: credit, debit, prepaid and eCommerce platforms; use of innovative products; risk management; and regulations.
