Paul J. Bean is the Principal/Chief Creative Officer of AGP Digital Marketing, LLC, a full-service web development + marketing firm. Located in central Orange County, California, AGP specializes
in building dynamic digital solutions such as websites and email marketing, cutting-edge business development tools as well as traditional print marketing and branding campaigns for the credit union industry.
Paul’s credit union experience started early on in his career. Working his way through college as a summer teller at Steelcase Employees Credit Union in his
home state of Michigan, he was introduced to the people helping people philosophy, something that has stayed with him throughout his life.
After many rewarding years at creative agencies and a lauded stint at Financial Partners CU, Paul wanted to make a bigger difference in the credit union industry, so he founded Avant Garde Productions, a print marketing agency. Over six rewarding years, he built this company into a powerful Southern California credit union ally. After so many of his clients asked for digital collateral, however, Paul shifted the focus of the agency to fill what he perceived as a very large need in the industry—an agency dedicated to digital marketing.
As the CEO of AGP Digital Marketing, Paul has been able to call on his 15+ years in marketing and advertising as he helps his clients make a bold statement for their credit unions and their members.
Paul and his staff at AGP are the recipients of the credit union industry’s most prestigious awards: a CUES Golden Mirror award, multiple CUNA Diamond awards, a MAC award and two AACUL First Place Blockbuster awards.
A graduate of Western Michigan University, Paul holds a BA in English Literature and a minor in Theatre Performance. In his spare time, he is a voracious movie watcher and he loves history, architecture, reading and armchair archeology. He lives in Orange County with his wife, Lina, and their beloved (read: spoiled) pets.
