Inside look at Hurricane Sandy’s Devastation with NJCUL’s Pres/CEO Paul Gentile

A couple days ago this video interview with New Jersey Credit Union League President/CEO Paul Gentile would have been impossible. With their power recently restored, Paul took time from his busy day to talk with us about experiencing Hurricane Sandy and seeing up close the storm’s devastating aftermath along the New Jersey shore and neighboring communities — an area where he has lived his entire life. Paul gives us a firsthand account on how credit unions and industry organizations like NJCUL are stepping up to help members and other credit unions in need. It’s a compelling conversation that really makes you think twice about how many of us (me included) take for granted the numerous conveniences in life — until they’re gone.

Many thanks again for Paul’s time to discuss his personal look at the rebuilding process occurring right now and the many lessons learned in the storm’s wake.
