Just who is the underdog?

So, I’m in Key West for a NAFCU conference. I always try to read a book on these trips. Before I left, I looked at my pile of WTBR books.

Those are my “Waiting to be read” books.

I chose Malcolm Gladwell’s book, David and Goliath. 

I won’t get into details of the book, but I will certainly recommend it. Here’s what I will say.

First, watch this TED video, where Mr. Gladwell tells the surprising story of David versus Goliath. I thought I knew this story, but it turns out that I did not.

And I’ll say this.

Many of us face uphill challenges. We face obstacles that seem to be stacked against us. This book shows that if you are creative and believe, you can overcome what appear to insurmountable odds.
