GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY
The primary purpose of this position is to assist Allegacy Federal Credit Union in living out its mission, to help you make smart financial choices” and support the expected behaviors of the Synergy culture. To achieve this goal the employee must provide outstanding service to both internal and external members. One of the primary means to achieve this end is to develop a highly effective team of employees and develop each employee to their highest potential through coaching and leadership. Responsible for ensuring that outstanding service is delivered to both internal and external members. A key component of this service is to identify the financial investment needs of Allegacy members and to ensure the Financial Advisors recommend appropriate credit union and Allegacy Investment Group/CFS solution(s). In addition, this position manages the Allegacy Investment Group Financial Advisors (sales team), sets goals and expectations, and coaches and leads activities to achieve sales revenue goals. While the primary responsibility is to drive revenue, the incumbent must also be able to identify and implement opportunities for program development.
NATURE AND SCOPE
Responsible for meeting sales goals and department objectives monthly (AUM, GDC, invested assets, member penetration, and new accounts opened). Oversee the bi-weekly planner meetings and monthly staff meetings. Responsible for managing and coaching the Financial Advisors and Junior Financial Advisors sales staff and their relationships with Credit Union internal CU departments and the CUSO, Allegacy Investment Group clients. Cuso Financial Services, L.P., investment and insurance product vendors and other professionals as the need may arise to coordinate efforts for the benefit of clients (i.e. attorneys, accountants, financial institutions, etc.). Accountable to work with the Operations Manager to build the annual budget, Operating plan and Long Range Plan of Allegacy Investment Group.
