Alaska USA Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered financial services cooperative with branch offices throughout Alaska, the Puget Sound area of Washington State, and California's Victor Valley. The credit union is the largest provider of consumer financial services in Alaska, with growing membership in Washington and California.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely execution of the credit union’s business plan as it applies to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Ensure the efficiency, effectiveness and control of operations of assigned departments and functions consistent with the credit union’s net income requirements and highest-quality member and interdepartmental service expectations.
- Ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures applicable to assigned departments and related credit union activities.
- Keep abreast of related industry, professional and technological trends, issues, products and/or services, as applicable, to ensure the current and future effectiveness and profitability of the credit union’s services, policies, technologies, staff proficiencies and processes as they relate to assigned areas of responsibility.
- Assist in the development of the credit union’s goals, strategies, organization and operations plans.
- Serve and actively participate in various management committees, as assigned.
- Represent the credit union and seek leadership positions in community, professional and trade associations, as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification Requirements:
- Education - Degree in Business Administration with advanced industry courses in real estate lending and servicing including all applicable laws and regulations.
- Experience Required - Eight years in management-level lending position including experience in real estate and mortgage lending.
- Skills - Requires strong organizational, management and communication skills with extensive experience in all aspects of real estate lending, including human relations.
