Madison, Wis.—The Credit Union Executives Society honors nine CUES Council award winners and thanks its top recruiters.
To develop future meetings, each CUES Outstanding Council award winner receives $500. Judges selected these Councils for their ability to present timely and important topics to attendees, communicate effectively with their members and produce actionable marketing pieces to generate high meeting participation. They also encourage nonmembers to join CUES. The 2011 winners include:
-CUES Iowa Council, CUES Northeast Council and CUES Utah Council for groups with 1-100 CUES members
-CUES Alabama Council, CUES Delaware Valley Council and CUES Oregon/Washington Council for groups with 101-200 CUES members
-CUES Florida Council, CUES Michigan Council and CUES Rocky Mountain Council for groups with more than 200 CUES members
CUES Councils are run by members on a volunteer basis and serve CUES members regionally, offering networking and career-enhancing resources to credit union leaders.
CUES also thanks its top new-member recruiters from the past year. During 2011, 244 CUES members recruited one or two new members. One hundred sixty four CUES members were honored as part of the Chairman’s Club Circle for recruiting three or four new members, and 106 CUES members were honored as part of the Chairman’s Club Roundtable for recruiting five to seven new members.
