CUNA Technology Council Re-Elects Executive Committee Members

MADISON, Wis. – The CUNA Technology Council announced its executive committee and officers during the Council’s 15^th Annual Conference, which took place Sept. 29-Oct. 2, in Las Vegas. This is a result of the most recent annual election by the council membership in the months preceding the conference.

Rudy Pereira, senior vice president of operations and technology for Alliant CU in Chicago will remain the chair. Robert Reh, chief information officer for Nassau Financial FCU in Westbury, N.Y. will continue as vice-chair. Robert replaced Jackie Buchanan, former chief information officer (now CEO) for Genisys CU in Pontiac, Mich. as vice-chair earlier in the year after she stepped down.

During the recent elections for two seats, incumbent Pereira was re-elected along with incumbent Butch Leonardson, senior vice president/chief information officer, BECU, Seattle, Washington.

In addition to the elected seats, John Drago, Vice President of Information Technology, at the California and Nevada Credit Union Leagues was appointed as the league representative to the executive committee. He replaces John Morawski, chief technology officer for Massachusetts Credit Union League who completed his term as the league representative on the executive committee.

The Technology Council’s executive committee also includes:

Jeff Johnson, senior vice president, information technology, Baxter CU in Vernon Hills, Ill.
Heather Moshier, executive vice president, information technology, San Diego County CU in San Diego, Calif.
Belinda Caillouet, vice president, information technology, Spokane Teachers Credit Union, Spokane, Wash.
Chad Graves, vice president, information technology, Ent FCU, Colorado Spring, Colo.

Established in 1995, the CUNA Technology Council is a member-led organization made up of more than 500 credit union technology experts across the United States. The Council’s goal is to shape the advancement of credit union technology by leveraging collective peer strength through the sharing of information and fostering of professional development.
