NAFCU Services' Free Culookup.com Calculators Surpass 1 Million Computations In 2011

WASHINGTON –NAFCU Services Corporation today announced that CULookup.com’s award-winning Financial Calculators reached a major milestone of more than 1 million calculations by online users in 2011. The calculators are available to the general public for free on www.CULookup.com, and also made available free-of-charge to NAFCU Members for use on their websites as well, courtesy of NAFCU Services Corporation and their Preferred Partners.

“This landmark underscores the value that CULookup.com calculators provide to credit union members and prospective members in promoting the solutions that credit unions offer,” said NAFCU Services Corporation President David Frankil. “Websites have become key engines of ecommerce, and offering calculators turns visitors and traffic into transactions. We’re pleased to be able to offer this technology free of charge to NAFCU Members.”

There are over 30 calculators that cover five broad categories including home/mortgage, savings, credit, retirement and auto finances. The most popular calculations are found in the auto, mortgage and loan payments sections.

The calculators were first launched in February 2010, and garnered widespread attention and adoption. At the current run rate, calculations on the platform will exceed 1.7 million by year-end.
