As the philanthropic and social responsibility leader of America's credit union movement, the National Credit Union Foundation (NCUF) raises funds, makes grants, manages programs, and provides education empowering consumers to achieve financial independence through credit unions.

Donations to the Foundation enable credit unions to help their members reach life-changing goals. Through NCUF grants and programs, credit unions create greater access to provide widespread financial education, affordable financial services, and empower more consumers to save, build assets, and own homes.

Specifically, the Foundation supports:

• REAL Solutions® – helping credit unions offer new services to attract low-wealth and modest means households.
• Credit Union Development Education – promoting credit union philosophy, cooperative principles and social responsibility.
• Financial Education & Literacy – including the Biz Kid$ partnership with PBS and America’s credit unions.
• CUAid – raising credit union disaster relief funds.
• Innovation Grants – encouraging innovation through grant-making.
