MADISON, Wis. – The Credit Union Executives Society is pleased to announce the winners of the 2012 Golden Mirror Awards competition.
This year, 508 entries were received; 150 earned awards for marketing excellence. Of the 150 GMA winners, four entrants garnered top honors:
- GMA Pinnacle Award—John Speaker, Tulsa Federal Credit Union, Tulsa, Okla.
- GMA Best Campaign—Kristen Scott, Telhio Credit Union, Columbus, Ohio
- GMA Rookie of the Year—Dohnia Dorman, Rio Grande Credit Union, Albuquerque, N.M.
- GMA Golden Shoestring—Monica Gilmore, Community 1st Credit Union, DuPont, Wash.
New this year, CUES’ GMA Pinnacle Award is selected from among first place winners of categories other than Coordinated Campaigns. CUES’ GMA Best Campaign is the top honor awarded to one of the first-place winners from the three asset divisions in the Coordinated Campaigns category. CUES’ GMA Rookie of the Year is awarded to a marketer who has been employed by a credit union for two years or less; the winner is selected from among all winning GMA entries submitted by credit union rookies. CUES’ GMA Golden Shoestring is awarded to a highly successful marketing piece within the constraints of a shoestring budget.
