JACKSON, MI (December 1, 2014) — Employees from American 1 Credit Union were out in the Jackson community on Black Friday thanking people for shopping local. Over the course of the day 60 individuals received envelopes with $50 dollars cash, and a thanks from American 1 employees for shopping local and keeping their dollars in the community.

American 1 Credit Union knows it’s important to shop local and finance local, and that
by doing so it helps strengthen the communities we serve. The “Random Act of Holiday Community” was aimed at educating residents on the importance of keeping dollars in our local communities by rewarding them on one of the biggest shopping days of the year.
