DATCU breaks ground on New Highland Village Branch

DENTON, TX (October 20, 2014) — DATCU, a leading full-service credit union held a ceremony on October 15th, celebrating the groundbreaking of their new Highland Village location at the corner of Briarhill Blvd. and FM 407 – Justin Road.  DATCU’s executive team, board members, employees, Highland Village city officials and many others were in attendance.

“We are extremely happy that DATCU has the opportunity to serve our current and future members of Highland Village by expanding into this area of Southern Denton County.  We are so humbled to have received such a tremendous response and warm welcome from the city”  stated Dale Kimble, DATCU’s Chief Executive Officer.

The new branch will be managed by Holly Johnson who is the current assistant manager of DATCU’s Lewisville location.

The contractor for the project is Links Construction, LLC. The architect for the Highland Village Branch is Kirkpatrick Architecture Studio.
