Day Air welcomes the class of 2018

KETTERING, OH,  (August 27, 2014) — This past weekend, Day Air continued their long-time partnership with the University of Dayton by helping out at New Student Orientation. Day Air has been on UD’s campus since 1985 helping students improve their financial lives while attending college, and after. During Orientation on Saturday, Day Air had two locations open to open accounts, answer questions for parents and students, and help families understand what students’ financial needs may be during their college years. In addition, Day Air was available at other campus events such as the Parent Resource Fair and the Transfer Student Resource Fair. Both were great opportunities for students and parents to meet with campus departments and see what services are available for students.

“Day Air and the University of Dayton have been partners for many years and we are proud of the partnership,” says William Burke, President & CEO of Day Air Credit Union. “Day Air’s mission is to help improve members’ financial condition. Since we are right on campus we will continue living our mission by helping college students learn to manage and organize their finances.”

With a full service branch and eight (8) ATM’s located on campus, Day Air is a fantastic way for students to start their financial independence. “Day Air Credit Union has educated and helped thousands of UD students in the 29 years we have had a branch on campus” says Amy Cline, UD Branch Manager. Day Air’s full service branch is on the University of Dayton’s campus to not only serve students, but faculty and staff as well.

There are several benefits that the UD community enjoys from having Day Air on campus. The students and faculty enjoy convenient account access on campus and away from campus. With mobile banking, online banking and over 7,000 shared branches and 30,000 surcharge-free ATM’s nationwide, the University of Dayton community can access their money anywhere and anytime. Day Air also offers financial education opportunities throughout the school year. With these classes, students can learn how to build good credit, how to manage a checking account, or to create a budget. For more information visit https://dayair.org/universityofdayton.
