Global Credit Union announces recent promotions and new hires
SPOKANE, WA (August 21, 2014) — Global Credit Union recently announced the promotion of employees Mellie Price and Christine Kolashinski and the new hires of Mahailia Bruno and Colleen Warner this past quarter.
Mellie Price was promoted to Brand Manager on July 28 after being with the credit union eight years in September. Price’s role as Brand Manager includes designing effective collateral materials and print advertising for all internal and external promotions to ensure adherence to the credit union’s goals, strategic objectives, brand image and compliance.
Christine Kolashinski was promoted to Accounting Supervisor on July 6 after being with the credit union 13 years. Kolashinski is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining accurate and reliable accounting information and reporting on income, expenses, assets, liabilities and capital for management planning and fulfillment of financial reporting requirements.
Mahailia Bruno was hired as the GlobalVicenza Branch Operations Supervisor on July 21. Bruno assists in the daily operation of the branch to schedule staff and training, provide insight about products, services, policies and procedures and ensure branch compliance with company policy and regulatory procedures. She assumes responsibility for the operation of the branch during any absence of the Branch Manager.
Colleen Warner was hired as the Internal Audit Manager on June 17. Warner supports the Supervisory Committee by independently and objectively assessing the effectiveness of management’s internal controls over the integrity and reliability of information, safeguarding of assets, efficiency of operations and compliance with laws, regulations, internal policies and proceeds of the credit union.
