Hiway Proclaimed a Yellow Ribbon Company

ST. PAUL, MN (July 25, 2013) —  Hiway Federal Credit Union (Hiway) was officially proclaimed as a Yellow Ribbon Company by the Lt. Governor of Minnesota at a ceremony held at Camp Ripley near Little Falls, MN.

“Hiway Federal Credit Union is proud to be a Yellow Ribbon Company”, states Vice President of  Marketing and Member Relations, Glen Durbahn. “Our path to receiving this designation began with the merger of Ft. Snelling
Federal Credit Union into the Hiway family in March of 2009. At that time, we opened our doors to thousands of new members who incorporate all branches of the Military. It was our goal to partner with agencies and groups
to help in the support of Minnesota’s military personnel and their families.”

Annette Kuyper, Director of Military Outreach said, “We are pleased to welcome Hiway Federal Credit Union into our network of Yellow Ribbon Companies. The Beyond the Yellow Ribbon Proclamation recognizes the
combined efforts of key areas within a company to support those affected by military deployments and enable successful transition into the workplace. Hiway is the 28th Company to receive this designation in Minnesota.”
