InTouch Credit Union scores a fourth season of Bank to Achieve with Mavs D-League Players
Financial Literacy Program Brings Texas Legends Players to Local InTouch Credit Union Branches
PLANO, TX (October 31, 2014) — InTouch Credit Union (ITCU) is proud to announce the 2014-2015 schedule for their “Bank to Achieve” youth financial literacy program. These five events, held throughout the basketball season, feature the opportunity for the public to meet, interact and learn money management skills with Texas Legends basketballs players.
Plano-based ITCU is an official sponsor of the Texas Legends. The Texas Legends are a part of the NBA D-League, the official minor league of the NBA and an affiliate of the Dallas Mavericks. Over thirty percent of all NBA players now feature previous NBA Development League experience.
The Bank to Achieve events are held on select Saturday mornings, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at ITCU branches in North Texas communities. Each event hosts players from the Texas Legends available for photos or autographs. Complimentary tickets to upcoming Legends games are provided to all attendees as well as financial workbooks for age groups 0-10 and 11-18; participants can also enter to win prizes from the Legends. Complimentary refreshments are available and all activities at the event are provided at no cost to attendees.
All children, regardless of attendance at a Bank to Achieve event, are encouraged to enter the monthly ITCU Texas Legends coloring contest. During the season, winners are recognized on the court at a Legends game and receive a prize. Children can complete a coloring page, featuring the ITCU mascot, Chip along with Dunker, the Texas Legends mascot, at any of our Texas branches, our booth during any Legends home game or it can be downloaded from ITCU.org, under the Texas Events section.
The Texas Legends are celebrating five fantastic seasons of D-League basketball in Frisco. ITCU has been a proud sponsor of the Legends and host of the popular Bank to Achieve events for four seasons. This season, Bank to Achieve will be held at the following locations:
