Des Moines, Iowa – The Iowa Credit Union Foundation recently announced three new board members at its annual meeting on November 15. Board members serve a three-year term and represent the interests of Iowa’s credit unions and their nearly one million members.

New ICUF board members include:

• Jason Norton, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, DuTrac Credit Union (Dubuque) 

• Mike Moroney, CEO, Alliant Credit Union (Dubuque)  

• Matthew Cervantez, Commercial Loan Officer, Linn Area Credit Union (Cedar Rapids)

“On behalf of the Iowa Credit Union Foundation, I would like to congratulate these individuals for being elected to the ICUF Board,” said Marybeth Foster, ICUF Executive Director. “We sincerely appreciate their willingness to lead the Foundation in fulfilling our long-term strategic vision of helping Iowans build wealth, responsibility and independence.”

Board members are elected by the Board of Directors. The entire 2012 Iowa Credit Union Foundation Board inlcudes:

• Dale Owen (ICUF Board President), Ascentra Credit Union, Bettendorf
• Helen Pearce (ICUF Board Vice President) Cedar Falls Community Credit Union, Cedar Falls
• Lana Ross (ICUF Board Treasurer) Iowa Community Action Association, Des Moines
• Christina Fernandez-Morrow (ICUF Board Secretary) Lutheran Services in Iowa, Des Moines
• Angela Drury, 1st Gateway Credit Union, Camanche
• Jason Norton, DuTrac Credit Union, Dubuque
• Mike Moroney, CEO, Alliant Credit Union, Dubuque
• Matthew Cervantez, Commercial Loan Officer, Linn Area Credit Union, Cedar Rapids

Founded in 1995 as the philanthropic arm of the Iowa Credit Union League, the Iowa Credit Union Foundation’s (ICUF) primary focus is to eliminate poverty in the state of Iowa.
