People’s Credit Union receives Annual Worksite Health Award

MIDDLETOWN, RI (April 15, 2015) — People’s Credit Union is proud to announce that they are the recipient of this year’s Annual Worksite Health Award, earning the “Outstanding” level.

The Annual Worksite Health Award is a program sponsored by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of RI, along with the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce. The award honors businesses that promote prevention with written materials, seminars, and lectures, and demonstrate a commitment to education through committee development and policy changes. To support the wellness initiative, People’s Credit Union held a wellness fair, bringing in various vendors and healthcare professionals. In addition, People’s offers webinars through its EAP program and access to the Wellness Works educational website.
