Based in Clovis, Allsup's Convenience Stores is ranked as New Mexico’s top privately owned corporation.  With more than 300 stores in New Mexico, West Texas, and Oklahoma, Lonnie and Barbara Allsup have long been recognized as innovators in the industry since opening their first location in 1956 in Roswell, New Mexico. Often cited as the “mother and father of the modern day convenience store,” they were one of the first to offer 24-hour self-service gasoline and were early implementers of selling foods freshly cooked onsite. Allsup’s sells fuel under the Alon, ConocoPhillips, Exxon and Allsup’s private-label “On the Go” brands.
