This year marks a truly special milestone for us: 75 years of proudly serving our membership. Gerber Federal Credit Union was founded in 1950 at the Gerber Products Company plant to meet the financial needs of local employees. Since then, we’ve grown into a full-service community credit union with over $240 million in assets and more than 16,000 members. As we reflect on this incredible journey, we are filled with gratitude and admiration for the people who have made it all possible — our members, volunteer board members, and colleagues. This anniversary is not just a celebration of our history, but a tribute to the heart and soul of our credit union: the individuals who have been with us every step of the way.
At Gerber Federal Credit Union, we’ve always believed in people helping people. And over the past seven and a half decades, it’s the people - not just the numbers - who have shaped our story.
