CenLA Federal Credit Union
Founded in May 1963 by dedicated employees of the Rapides Parish School System, CenLA Federal Credit Union began with just 25 charter members and $525 in deposits. Over the decades, it has grown into one of the largest credit unions headquartered in Central Louisiana, now serving over 11,000 members. Originally named Rapides School Employees Credit Union, it rebranded in 2004 to CenLA Federal Credit Union to reflect its expanded membership, which includes individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in Catahoula, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, and Winn Parishes, as well as employees of Vernon Parish schools, Union Tank Car, and Louisiana Special Education. With a commitment to personalized service, CenLA Federal Credit Union continues to provide competitive financial solutions tailored to the needs of its diverse membership.
