Soarion Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its newest financial center on San Antonio’s Southside yesterday. The Brooks City Base Financial Center, located at 2603 SE Military Drive, 78223, marks Soarion’s eighth location. Soarion staff, leadership, and Board of Directors were joined by business and community partners for a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Southside leaders, educators, and residents.
This new financial center reaffirms the credit union’s commitment to empowering financial wellness and education in one of the city’s fastest-growing communities. Soarion has already partnered with several Southside area community and business organizations, and will host a series of free monthly financial literacy workshops, in collaboration with University Health’s VIDA Center, beginning next year, connecting health and financial wellness for local families.
“Our Southside community has voiced the need for accessible financial education and trusted banking solutions,” said Ric Ledezma, Soarion Credit Union President and CEO. “Our new Brooks City Base Financial Center is a direct response to helping fill that need. The Brooks City Base Financial Center provides full-service banking in a modern, member-focused environment. Services include opening new accounts, making deposits and withdrawals, applying for auto and mortgage loans, and accessing a 24/7 drive-thru ATM. The new location also features promotions for new members during its first months of operation.
Hours of Operation:
Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. (Full lobby service available)
