Gulf Winds welcomes Craig Vinson Sr. as vice president of wealth management

Gulf Winds Credit Union is pleased to announce that Craig Vinson  Sr. has joined the leadership team as Vice President of Wealth Management. In this strategic role, Vinson will oversee all wealth management services, expand the program’s market presence, and mentor a team of  professionals skilled in aligning clients’ financial goals with the institution’s objectives. 

“Adding someone with Vinson’s experience and community-minded approach is a positive step forward for  Gulf Winds,” said Daniel Souers, President and CEO of Gulf Winds Credit Union. “He understands the needs of  our clients, and his leadership will help us continue building a more financially confident community.” 

Vinson brings over 25 years of experience as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® PROFESSIONAL to the role.  Throughout his career, he focused on financial planning and wealth management, helping companies and  their owners strengthen, optimize, and eventually transition their businesses. Vinson is widely regarded for his  expertise in guiding high-net-worth clients, entrepreneurs, and both nonprofit and for-profit organizations.

Vinson is an active member of the community, currently serving as Chairman of the Ono Islands Security and  Appeal committee with past experiences on several boards including the Gulf Coast Chamber, Orange Beach  Methodist Church, Ono Island Board of Directors, and East Orange Beach Property Owners Association. His  strong community connections and dedication to advancing local businesses reflect his commitment to  driving organizational success and broader economic development.
