Bay Federal Credit Union promotes Crystal Espinoza to AVP, Branch Manager of Salinas

 Bay Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the promotion of Crystal Espinoza to Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager of their Salinas Branch. In this role, Ms. Espinoza will oversee branch operations, provide leadership and coaching to her team, and ensure an exceptional member experience through personalized financial guidance and community engagement.

Ms. Espinoza has been with Bay Federal for nearly nine years, beginning her career as a Member Service Representative. Shortly after joining the credit union, Ms. Espinoza completed several professional certifications and advanced into the role of Service Supervisor at the Capitola Branch. In 2023, she broadened her experience by learning the lending side of the business and transitioning into a Financial Services Officer position. Most recently, she served as the Lead Financial Services Officer at Bay Federal’s Salinas Branch.

In Spring 2025, Ms. Espinoza completed BayFedU, the credit union’s internal leadership development program, further strengthening her leadership skills and professional growth.

Ms. Espinoza is passionate about community involvement and regularly participates in Bay Federal’s volunteer initiatives. Some of her favorite events include Stuff the Bus, CASA, and Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids’ Sake. She looks forward to becoming even more involved in the Monterey community and hopes to join a local board this year.

Outside of work, Ms. Espinoza enjoys spending time with her family on their annual camping trip, binge-watching shows, and completing puzzles.

"I am excited to step into the AVP, Branch Manager role and continue growing while supporting our members and team,” said Ms. Espinoza. “I look forward to building strong relationships within the community and helping drive meaningful growth for both our branch and the members we serve."
