MSUFCU celebrates record-breaking spring social event series

East Lansing, MI (May 13, 2026) |

MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) recently concluded its spring 2026 series of The Social at 311, which saw a surge in participation as community members gathered to build local connections.

The three-part series welcomed a total of 240 attendees, doubling the turnout from the previous fall season. To help grow the community spirit, credit union members were encouraged to bring nonmember guests to enjoy an evening of curated local experiences. Each gathering featured:

  • Local Flavors and Art: Fully catered dinners and refreshments paired with live performances from area artists.
  • Small-Business Spotlights: Interactive activities hosted by local vendors, allowing guests to engage with 13 different community businesses.
  • Take-Home Gifts: Unique tokens of appreciation for every attendee to remember the evening.

In addition to the food and activities, MSUFCU provided on-site resource tables, offering attendees a convenient way to explore financial products and services designed to help them thrive.

“The Social at 311 is about building community,” said Arianna Ridderbusch, Vice President of Community Impact at MSUFCU. “By opening our downtown East Lansing building to hands-on activities and collaborating with local artists, musicians, and small businesses, we are creating welcoming experiences that allow members to connect and discover what makes our community special.”
