To celebrate the relocation, Essential will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Ascension Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, welcoming members, community leaders, local businesses, and residents.
The relocated branch marks an exciting new chapter in Essential Credit Union's longstanding relationship with Gonzales and Ascension Parish. For nearly two decades, Essential Credit Union has proudly served the Gonzales community. The relocated branch offers members a more convenient location with ample parking, a welcoming and thoughtfully designed interior, and enhanced access to financial services.
One of the branch's newest conveniences is an upgraded Live Teller Machine. Accessible at the ATM, the Live Teller Machine provides members with access to live teller assistance beginning one hour before the branch opens, giving members greater flexibility to manage their financial needs.
