The League welcomes Brian Harris to the Advocacy Team

DULUTH, GA (July 20, 2026) |

The League of Credit Unions is pleased to welcome Brian Harris to the team as Senior Director of Governmental Affairs for Georgia, bringing more than a decade of experience in government affairs, legislative affairs, and political campaigns to the organization.

"I’m excited to put my knowledge to work via the efforts of the credit union movement, and I am grateful for the opportunity to support that mission," said Brian Harris. "I look forward to working alongside The League's trusted Advocacy Team to advance policies that empower credit unions to continue serving their members and communities.”

Harris earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Public Administration from Valdosta State University. He is also a graduate of Leadership Bulloch and Leadership North Fulton, reflecting his longstanding commitment to civic engagement and community leadership.

"Brian's vast advocacy experience and his deep understanding of Georgia's legislative landscape make him a great addition to our team," said Michelle Roth, Chief Advocacy Officer of The League of Credit Unions. "His experience and leadership will play a key role in advancing our advocacy efforts and strengthening the voice of credit unions across Georgia.”

The League looks forward to Harris’ leadership and contributions as it continues to advance advocacy engagement efforts on behalf of credit unions and the communities they serve.
