Western Federal Credit Union brings value-added financial products and services to McKee Credit Union after McKee members vote “yes” to merger

HAWTHORNE, CA (November 1, 2013) -- Western Federal Credit Union announces the merger between McKee Credit Union (Collegedale, TN) and Western Federal Credit Union (the continuing credit union), effective November 1, 2013. The merger passed on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, by an overwhelming majority of McKee Credit Union members who voted. McKee Credit Union’s field of membership includes McKee Foods Corporation and Blue Planet Foods (a division of McKee Foods Corporation). The merger represents the true cooperative nature of the credit union industry and the increased value of membership that can result by combining two strong organizations.
