Honor Credit Union proud to support Saint Joseph Public Schools Foundation

ST. JOSEPH, MI (September 23, 2014) -- Honor Credit Union is proud to continue its support of local community schools through a donation to the Saint Joseph Public Schools (SJPS) Foundation.  Honor has made a three year commitment to the SJPS Foundation in the form of a monetary donation to assist in the group’s funding of student programs and development within Saint Joseph Public Schools for a total donation of $3,000.

Established in 1996, the mission of the St. Joseph Public School Foundation is to raise, steward and distribute resources to enrich the education of students in the St. Joseph Public Schools.  Independent from the school system, the SJPS Foundation was founded by a group of citizens that continue to strive to ensure that the quality of education for students is maintained at a high standard by providing additional resources and support to the school system.  Donations such as Honor’s contribute towards the foundation’s goal to providing educational excellence for every student.

“Being dedicated to supporting the youth in our communities, we are proud to support the SJPS Foundation,” comments Honor CEO Scott McFarland. “The foundation is able to provide such great support to the students in St. Joseph schools and we are thankful for the opportunity to assist them with that goal.”
