COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (January 12, 2015) -- Ent Federal Credit Union recently concluded their 2014 holiday food drive with employee and member donations benefitting Care and Share Food Bank as well as Food Bank of the Rockies.
Collection barrels in Ent’s corporate offices and all 27 Ent Service Centers collected nearly 3,000 pounds of food to benefit local families in need. In addition 66 turkeys were donated by employees during the annual Care and Share “Take a Turkey to Work Day” in November. Ent employee and member monetary donations totaled $2,451.
“As an active community partner, Ent is proud to support the food banks that serve our member communities. Care and Share Food Bank and Food Bank of the Rockies provide an invaluable service to the community and we are pleased at how our members and employees came together this holiday season to donate and support them,” said Barbara Winter, Ent’s executive vice president of organizational resources.
