Congresswoman Gwen Moore, representing Wisconsin’s 4th District, visited CUNA Mutual Group headquarters in Madison on Monday, October 5th. She spent time with CUNA Mutual Group leaders about efforts to serve credit unions and members and she also talked with employees on various initiatives. Moore, who is a champion for credit unions and worked to start a credit union early in her career, is the first member of congress to agree to serve as an honorary co-chair for the 2016 Credit Union Cherry Blossom Run. Each year, the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run in Washington, D.C. brings together credit unions from across the country with a shared vision of fund raising and helping children. The proceeds from this event support the 170 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
