Ascensus offers a new education opportunity

Ascensus cosponsors education seminar with Hawaii Credit Union League

Ascensus is proud to partner with the Hawaii Credit Union League and offer an IRA education seminar—Academy of IRA Knowledge—in September. This training event will have an IRA-focused curriculum featuring topics on IRA compliance and operations with additional select electives. The Academy of IRA Knowledge will allow attendees to earn the Certified IRA Specialist (CIS) I or CIS II designation and also will qualify for continuing education credits for many industry designations.

Although the Academy of IRA Knowledge is cosponsored with the Hawaii Credit Union League, it is open to all types of financial organizations—credit union, bank, and brokerage firms.

“We’re excited to partner with the Hawaii Credit Union League to bring the Academy of IRA Knowledge to Hawaii; the last time Ascensus provided an onsite IRA seminar in Hawaii was 2012. This is a great opportunity for our clients—particularly our clients in Hawaii and on the West Coast—to get IRA training, certification, or continuing education credits,” said James Thompson, Product Manager of Education at Ascensus.

The Academy of IRA Knowledge will be held September 28–30, 2016, at the Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii.

“We’re excited to welcome Ascensus and the Academy of IRA Knowledge attendees to Hawaii. Not only is the Ala Moana Hotel a beautiful and functional meeting space, it is centrally located for exploring the island of Oahu and some of its top attractions: the Waikiki Beach Walk®, Waikiki Beach, Diamond Head, and the Pearl Harbor & USS Arizona Memorial,” said Wendy Kishida, Education and Training Director at Hawaii Credit Union League.
