Heart of Louisiana Federal Credit Union selects Credit Union Resources to conduct searches for vice president of lending and business lending officer

Credit Union Resources has been selected to conduct searches for the positions of vice president of lending and business lending officer for Heart of Louisiana Federal Credit Union in Pineville, La.

The vice president of lending is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plans for the credit union. The new vice president of lending will have experience in loan administration, portfolio management, and risk management.

The position of the business lending officer will be responsible for the business lending functions at the credit union and, as such, will require a strong history of driving business lending at a financial institution.

Heart of Louisiana Federal Credit Union has $108 million in assets and three locations to serve its more than 16,700 members in the Greater Alexandria Underserved Area. Chartered in 1955, the credit union’s original field of membership consisted of employees of the United States Department of Agriculture working in Louisiana under the supervision of the USDA offices in Alexandria and Pineville. Today, the credit union has expanded its membership and taken in additional individual employee groups.

Marcus Cotton, vice president of executive recruiting at Credit Union Resources, will lead the executive searches for Heart of Louisiana FCU’s vice president of lending and business lending officer.
