The CUNA Lending Council has published a new white paper, “Loans Through a Strategic Lens: How Lending Executives Inspire Big-Picture Thinking and Execution”.
As the credit union’s primary source of revenue, lending is a natural strategic nucleus, which puts the Chief Lending Officer and other lending executives at the forefront in fostering strategic thinking and execution across the organization.
This white paper explores effective tactics to achieve that end by:
- adopting and modeling key elements of strategic thinking,
- empowering mid-level managers with a strategic charge,
