Doug Wilkins was recently promoted to Assistant Vice President, Facilities Management & Construction with Greater Texas Credit Union.
During his 3 months with Greater Texas, Doug made an immediate and much-welcomed impact on the credit union, quickly earning enterprise-wide trust and respect while quickly delivering tangible results. His work ethic, expertise, professionalism, and interpersonal skills facilitate outstanding relationships with key internal constituents and third-party providers.
As a plumber by trade, he has more than 35 years’ experience in the industry focused mostly on finish out but also large and small building remodel and repair. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Doug said, “As the successful owner and operator of a commercial plumbing company for 23 years, I bring to the credit union a unique understanding of how buildings should be maintained and facilities built or remodeled to meet required specifications.”
In his new role, Doug will assume primary construction project management responsibilities for all 19 credit union facilities across Texas. Greater Texas Credit Union has been serving Texans since 1952 and is known as Aggieland Credit Union in the Brazos Valley.
