United Solutions Company (USC), a technology CUSO hosting core processing and other technology services for credit unions, announced Mesquite Credit Union has signed a contract to migrate their DataSafe Core Processing System. The Mesquite Credit Union has chosen USC as their technology partner due to its commitment to personalized service and innovative technology solutions.
“United Solutions combines the DataSafe Core System with the many ancillary products from USC and publishes the system to Mesquite Credit Union using Microsoft Remote Desktop Services. Products included with the core include business intelligence, on-boarding software, loan pricing products, Office 365, and more. Mesquite Credit Union will improve operational efficiencies and meet their member needs with greater ease,” said Jim Giacobbe, President & CEO of USC.
Mesquite Credit Union is a not-for-profit, member owned, financial institution that has served the needs of the Mesquite, Texas community since 1968. Historically, membership in the Credit Union was a benefit only available to those inhabiting within Mesquite city limits; however, the membership was opened to select employee groups throughout the years.
“My reasons for choosing USC are to move to an IT partner, not just a processor. MCU is able to harness the expertise of IT and project management professionals who not only handle our daily processing but provide alternatives for new products and services at prices that can’t be matched in the market. They keep us abreast of the latest technology and provide an overall solution, not just a core system. USC serves their clients the way credit union’s serve their members. It makes for a perfect partnership,” stated Lisa Connell, President and CEO of Mesquite Credit Union.
United Solutions has been hosting the Fiserv DataSafe Core Data Processing System since the CUSO’s inception in 1983. The Fiserv DataSafe System provides easy-to-use, browser-based technology that is attractive, user-friendly and feature-rich. The member data is stored in an object-oriented relational database incorporating the latest technology such as .NET, AJAX, SOAP, and more. Products such as in-house credit card processing, a best-of-breed home banking product, cross-sell products, relationship pricing, risk-based pricing, shared branching and an easy-to-use real-time SQL Reporting Module are just some of the system highlights. Mesquite Credit Union looks forward to an April 1, 2019 migration.
