GOLD Credit Union announces new vice president of accounting & human resources

Megan Calcerano has been named as GOLD Credit Union’s new vice president of accounting & human resources effective April 1. The executive search was conducted by Credit Union Resources for the $130 million credit union.

Previously the manager of accounting at Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union in Northfield, New Jersey, Calcerano was responsible for preparing financial statements, training & reviewing junior staff members, financial analysis, and analyzing financial performance comparisons to assist with executive decision-making. Under her leadership, Calcerano constructed and implemented branch profitability analysis and internal control policies.

Prior to being the manager of accounting, Calcerano was the staff accountant/auditor at Capaldi, Reynolds, & Pelosi CPA/PA where she performed financial statement audits for profit and not-for-profit entities.

With over eight years of accounting experience, Calcerano will help GOLD continue its mission to bring convenience to their members’ lives along with respect, service, and courtesy. Calcerano is recognized in the industry for her strong leadership skills, accounting expertise, and team-building capabilities.

Calcerano holds a bachelor of science in business administration and accounting from The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in Pomona, New Jersey. She also holds an associate of science in business administration from Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, New York.
