CUNA awards NW Preferred Diamond Award for its credit union website design

Last week, CUNA presented its Diamond Award winners for excellence in credit union marketing. Among these select and prestigious winners was NW Preferred’s beautiful new credit union website, designed by agency BloomCU. The website showcases NW Preferred’s unique brand and provides a custom experience to their various users.

The Diamond Awards are presented annually at the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference, which gives credit union marketers a chance to learn, network, and celebrate. Representatives from NW Preferred were present to accept the award in person.

NW Preferred has a unique client base: they serve both professionals in the insurance industry nationwide, as well as general members of select Northwest communities. Their new website provided a custom experience based on its users needs, made possible through tracking data and visitors’ stated preferences.

The new credit union website design also featured a major aesthetic overhaul. Each color, theme, and font was chosen with beauty and elegance in mind. Commercialized stock photos were replaced by more naturalistic and welcoming photography.

“We loved the site we put together for NW Preferred,” said Derik Krauss, co-founder of BloomCU. “It’s both beautiful and incredibly functional—it doesn’t get much easier to use than this.”
