CUNA was pleased to recently award Hoosier Hills FCU a prestigious Diamond Award for their new credit union website design. The website was built by agency BloomCU. Hoosier Hills was present at CUNA’s event and accepted the award in person.
Each year, CUNA holds their CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference, one of the largest conferences of this type in the United States. CUNA hosts special workshops for credit union marketers, provides networking opportunities, and sponsors a dinner where the Diamond Awards are presented.
Hoosier Hills is a large, successful Indiana credit union with a proven track record of excellent service and trustworthy practices. They wanted to update their website to better serve their growing membership base. One of their major concerns was ease of use. BloomCU, an experienced credit union website design agency, came through with a website that was both beautiful and functional.
The many updates, large and small, contributed to a brand new look for the website. The design was ramped up to be cleaner and leaner, with more natural, aesthetically pleasing photography. BloomCU used card sorting and usability testing to reorganize the website’s navigation, making it easier for users to find what they were looking for. The new website also incorporates special technology called Persona, which creates a profile for each visitor and provides them a custom experience based on past behavior and implied preferences.
