Unitus has welcomed their new Chief Experience Officer, Scott Bell, to the credit union. Bell brings with him a proven track record of innovating, improving internal processes, and developing outstanding team culture.
Before joining Unitus, Bell spent nearly 15 years at Oklahoma’s Credit Union. After serving as SVP and Chief Operating Officer for more than a decade, he established himself in the new role of Chief Innovation Officer. In this role, Bell identified opportunities to improve member service using data-driven insights and collaborated across departments to foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and constant process improvement throughout the organization.
“Scott’s energy and experience will have a significant impact in our mission to better serve our members. His ability to think in ways most others don’t will help us stay ahead and provide more helpful, relevant solutions to our members every day,” said Steve Stapp, Unitus President/CEO.
Unitus’ CXO position was established after an organizational restructure in the second quarter of 2019. During the transition, the Marketing & Brand Development division integrated into the Member Experience Division, which had been comprised of the Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, and Member Experience teams. These wide-ranging departments call for a leader who can effectively oversee both internal and external operations and communications. No easy task, Unitus is confident they found that leader.
“Scott’s knack for unlocking the potential of his teams by uniting various groups with a clear vision will prove invaluable,” continued Stapp. “His ability to integrate distinct parts of the member journey will help us consistently provide a smoother, more friction-free member experience.”
