Great Lakes Credit Union (GLCU) is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristy Gray as the new Vice President of Loan Operations. In this new role, Kristy will oversee both Mortgage and Loan Operations.
Steve Bugg, President and CEO of Great Lakes Credit Union stated, “It’s with great pleasure that today we are announcing the promotion of an employee that has made a considerable and positive impact to Great Lakes Credit Union and most importantly to our member-owners and communities we serve. In this new role, Kristy will lead our efforts to streamline loan operations in order to continue our journey on operating in a more efficient manner. This will allow the credit union to maximize our efforts to ensure our employee-owners are devoting their time to initiatives that move GLCU forward and enhance our robust lending products and services to our member-owners through the distribution channel of their choice. Based on Kristy’s successful track record at the credit union I know she will continue to accomplish our strategic goals and objectives.”
Kristy’s vast experience in the financial services industry includes a 20-year tenure with GLCU, where during this time she has had many positive impacts on the credit union. She has a broad background in financial services managing Retail Locations, Consumer Loan Operations, and Mortgage Operations. Ms. Gray is an active volunteer of the Northern Illinois Food Bank, PADS Lake County, Bernie’s Book Bank, and Feed My Starving Children. Additionally, Kristy holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Concordia University Wisconsin.
