AMOCO Federal Credit Union is excited to announce its recent field of membership expansion to serve 2.5 million potential members throughout Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, and Liberty Counties.
With NCUA’s approval, the Board of Directors unanimously approved the field of membership expansion to include 477 census tracts. As part of this expansion, people who live, work (or regularly conduct business in), worship, or attend school in, and businesses and other legal entities located within the prescribed communities of the Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land area, now have the opportunity to apply for membership at AMOCO FCU.
The communities that AMOCO has served since 1937 was the motivation for seeking this expansion. Providing affordable financial products and services lends way to a prosperous place for people to live, work, and raise their families. “This addition gives AMOCO the opportunity to enhance the financial lives of individuals who have not had convenient access to financial institutions. By offering education and affordable products and services, we know we can make a positive and lasting impact,” Tina Foster, Executive Vice President of Administration for AMOCO FCU.
