This week, Notre Dame Federal Credit Union (Notre Dame FCU) President and CEO Tom Gryp announced Thom Obergfell as its Fort Wayne Market President. A lifelong Fort Wayne resident, Obergfell received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Saint Francis. Obergfell has over thirty-six years of banking experience. For the last decade, Obergfell has served in senior leadership for commercial lending.
Obergfell, “I am excited to lead the expansion in Fort Wayne as Market President and spread the Notre Dame FCU mission of financial empowerment.”
Notre Dame FCU President and CEO Tom Gryp added, “Thom understands the Notre Dame FCU mission, and he has the ability to adapt to the dynamics of a changing economy to better serve members. I can think of no better person to represent Notre Dame FCU in Fort Wayne than Thom Obergfell.”
Obergfell serves the Fort Wayne community on the Board of Trustees at his alma mater, the University of Saint Francis. Obergfell also is the Treasurer for the Saint Peter Zion project, a local affordable housing initiative, the Finance Chair at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church, and a member of Saint Jude Catholic Church.
