Connex Credit Union Coins-for-Change continues to raise money

This program supports four new charities each quarter and contributes more than $14,000 annually

Connex recently donated $939.03 to Operation Hope in support of their mission to provide individuals and families the opportunity to experience transformative change. Their programs and services focus on eliminating hunger and homelessness and are designed to help people solve their crises and build stability in an environment in which compassion inspires dignity and hope. These funds were raised at the Connex Monroe Branch through Coins-for-Change, Connex’s philanthropic program that donates 100 percent of the fees collected at its coin-cashing machines to charitable organizations.

We are grateful to Connex Credit Union for providing us funds to help with overhead costs in our food pantry program. From all of us, and those we serve – THANK YOU,” said Carla Miklos, Executive Director of Operation Hope.

Members of the Operation Hope Heather Woelk, food pantry manager, and Kathleen McNamara, lead food pantry volunteer, proudly accepting the Connex donation.
