AEA Federal Credit Union recently presented a check for $4,110 to Hospice of Yuma. Donated funds were raised through the Employee Jean’s Giver Program during second quarter, 2023.
AEA employees participate in the Jeans Giver Program all year long and donate either $5 or $10 from their paychecks to wear jeans. Each quarter, the funds raised are given to a charity selected by employees. Since its start in 2016, the AEA Employee Jeans Giver Program has raised over $86,000 for local non-profits.
“Hospice of Yuma is there for local families during the very emotional experience of caring for a loved one with a chronic or terminal illness, and they do it with heart and warmth at every step,” said Adele Sandberg, AEA President and CEO. “Our community is fortunate to have an organization like Hospice of Yuma and the AEA Team felt strongly about donating to support their efforts.”
Hospice of Yuma is a non-profit 501(c) 3 community-based organization that provides compassionate care through a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers to individuals and their families who deal with chronic and terminal illness, while advancing palliative care and community awareness that death and grief are a natural part of life.
