Reliant Credit Union is pleased to announce the hiring of Nicholas Blaszak as Business Lending Underwriter. Mr. Blaszak previously served as an Indirect Underwriter at Five Star Bank.
In his new position, Mr. Blaszak will analyze and underwrite business loan requests, ensuring they are in compliance with Reliant’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
“I look forward to moving into the business lending space and developing my skills in commercial lending,” said Mr. Blaszak. “There are many loan types and options, and I’m excited for the opportunity to continue to grow as an underwriter.”
Mr. Blaszak has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Oberlin College, and comes to Reliant with over four years of underwriting experience. He lives in Fairport with his wife, and in his spare time, he enjoys spending time with family and their dog, getting outside to enjoy nature and stay active, and trying out the local cuisine whenever he’s traveling.
