Achieva Credit Union’s Southwest Florida branches recently provided 500 backpacks filled with school supplies to local students.
On Saturday, August 3, 12 Achieva branches from Manatee to Collier county handed out free backpacks to students at their branches.
“Our team members across our Southwest Florida branches were delighted to be able to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to local students,” said Susan Lacey, Achieva’s market president. “Achieva was founded by teachers in 1937 and supporting education in all forms remains a pillar of our institution.”
With over 26 active branches and growing, Achieva Credit Union has been serving commuties since 1937 and has more than 190,000 members throughout the state.
