Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union has been serving the financial needs of its members since 1970.  In that time, we've become more than just another financial institution ~we've become your friend, your family, and your partner in achieving your financial dreams. In October 1970, the Virginia Beach City Council unanimously voted to support a credit union as an additional benefit of employment. Shortly thereafter, Virginia Beach Municipal Employees Federal Credit Union received a federal charter from the National Credit Union Administration, giving municipal employees, retirees, volunteers and their families a safe place to save and borrow money. Since then, Beach Municipal, as we are now called, has become a full-service financial institution offering its members everything from traditional savings and checking accounts to IRAs, credit cards, mortgages and much more.
