A Marketing Plan that Clearly Added Vision

Credit union marketers and business development professionals had a very special opportunity this past March during the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference in Anaheim, CA.

The opportunity included working with other professionals in the industry and collaborating to support a non-profit organization. For Council member Alison Wolf, Vice President of Marketing with FAA Credit Union, Oklahoma City, OK, the opportunity in participating in the Apprentice Workshop is an example of “keeping our minds fresh with new ideas and challenging ourselves to think about things from a different perspective.”

“As a four-time participant, I continue to gain new lessons from this workshop and it not only reinvigorates me, it sets a stage for the conference that follows. And all of that on top of being able to help an amazing organization. At the end of it all, they helped us as much as we helped them,” added Wolf.

The overall concept of the Apprentice Workshop is to provide CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council Conference attendees an innovative, learning experience that is outside of the credit union industry. This year’s participants saw their marketing recommendations for the Blind Children’s Learning Center in Santa Ana, CA come to light.
